crontab: temp file must be edited in place

$ echo $EDITOR
neovim
$ crontab -e

* * * * * date >> /tmp/xx_timestamps.log

after saving

crontab: temp file must be edited in place

change EDITOR to vim will fix this issue

$ EDITOR=vim crontab -e
